Right in the best take of the most important scene in the entire project. What was it – an airplane? A generator? The mic’s battery failing? Craft Services setting out a fresh tray of donuts? There are so many ways things can go wrong and yet somehow, in the middle of the shoot, no one noticed.

It happens. This is where ADR (Automated Dialog Replacement) steps in and saves your bacon. Your talent comes into the studio where in no time they re-record, in sync, to picture, the problematic lines. At Independent we’ve “looped” dialog for major feature films, network TV shows, documentaries and independent films. (We’d name them but we’ve signed iron-clad non-disclosure agreements!)
