Video Editing: Do you want to keep up with the endless software upgrades? Can you handle fiddling with the technical bits? Do you know all the standards you are expected to hit in all the different delivery options available? Do you want to hire a full-time, in house editor and provide benefits and a parking space?

I’m going to make a wild stab at the answer: nope.  Your time is, more than likely, more valuable doing something else rather than video editing.

Ok, that’s one part of the equation, the other is story telling. You have a script, or at least an idea of one.  You have footage.  It’s beautiful stuff.  Now you need to put it together, script and footage, into a cohesive visual that will engage your targeted audience.  Aha!  That takes more than knowing the editing software.  Now you are on to something.
